The Best of Iowa in Traces Society (BITS)
was formed in 2003 to promote carriage driving in Iowa. The purpose is accomplished
through educational activities and the sponsorship of carriage-driving
shows and events focused on helping members improve their driving
skills. Examples of such events include a practice pleasure driving
show, speakers on topics directly related to carriage driving, like
shoeing, carriage selection, and training tips. BITS is a
nonprofit corporation registered with the Iowa Secretary of
State.
